This widely acclaimed satirical film about the horror of modern America has been topping many ‘best of 2017’ lists and stars Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Bradley Whitford, Caleb Landry Jones, Stephen Root, Lakeith Stanfield, and Catherine Keener.

Now that Chris and his girlfriend, Rose, have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate from New York with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.

“Blending race-savvy satire with horror to especially potent effect, this bombshell social critique from first-time director Jordan Peele proves positively fearless.”
Peter Debruge, Variety

From CommonSenseMedia.org:
“Violence isn’t constant but is really brutal when it happens, with fighting, bashing with blunt objects, kicking, stabbing, guns, shooting, and lots of blood. There’s also a gory surgery scene and a deer that’s hit by a car and shown injured and bleeding. Language is strong, with many uses of “f—k,” “motherf——r,” “s—t,” and the “N” word, as well as some very vivid sex talk.”
