Lee is a long-time Yukon photographer, writer and now film maker. His 16-minute documentary film, Edziza, describes a 2012 hiking trip into Mount Edziza in northwest B.C. It debuted at the 2013 Dawson City International Short Film Festival, was aired on Northwestel Community TV and screened at the 2015 Available Light Film Festival. His 3-minute narrative film, Monty, was produced for the 2016 48 Hour Film Challenge. Lee’s current project, Freedom Spoke, is a feature documentary about an adventure cycling trip from Warsaw, Poland through Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan to Iran. It tells the story of a woman’s journey, following her mother’s route as a ten-year-old Polish deportee during World War II. Lee has trained as a cinematographer, producer, director, assistant director, editor and sound tech.
