Into the Valley of Frost: An episode from Anash and the Legacy of the Sun Rock.  The series follows the adventures of two Tlingit warriors in the 1800s, and is intertwined with animated Tlingit myths. In addition to its roots in Tlingit oral history, Anash and the Legacy of the Sun-Rock has elements similar to the Lord of the Rings trilogy in that it is inspired by classic myths that recount the elaborate tales of an epic and grand quest. Appropriate for children 6 and up. (YT/AB, 2008, 22mins)

Ha Kus Teyea: The term Ha Kus Teyea means, literally, “The ways of our Tlingit culture”. This video depicts the festival-like gathering that takes place every 2 years on the shores of vast Teslin Lake in the Yukon interior. The gathering happens again this year at the Teslin Tlingit Cultural Centre, July 24 - 26, 2015. (Yukon, 2014, 17mins)

Director Carol Geddes will participate in a Q&A session after the screening.
