ALFF 2021 Short Film Pitch Event

Six teams will have 5 minutes each to pitch their short film ideas for short, one-off documentaries and fiction productions. The winning team will receive the Northwestel Community TV Prize of $5000 cash and $2500+ in-kind production services towards the production of their films.

The ALFF Pitch Event is part of the Available Light Film Festival and is supported Northwestel Community Television and Yukon Film Society.

 

Three esteemed jury members will listen to the pitches and ask questions about the project for 5 minutes.

Pitch Event Host: Inland Tlingit actor and producer, Melaina Sheldon

Jurors: Northwestel Community Television Manger, Mike Gravitis; Executive Producer of the NFB BC + Yukon Studio, Shirley Vercruysse; and Na Ho Productions filmmaker, Angela Code.

Dumpdog Millionaire - Documentary / biopic: Kiyoshi Macguire, Marcus Martin

Forty  - Horror: Justine Andrea Hobbs, Yasmine Renaud
