Storytelling on Screen
This event took place on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at 10:15 amArtists’ Studio, KDCC
At the heart of any successful project is a good story. But what makes a compelling film? How do you turn a great idea into a story that works on screen? Ingrid Veninger shares her insights into how to develop a strong story arc, ways to effectively use subtext, how script sequence can affect story impact, and how to develop strong characters – factors that can be applied to both documentary and fiction projects. Participants will come away with a greater understanding of storytelling techniques, and how to structure content in the most effective way possible before presenting materials to funders and producers.
