Megalopolis

Francis Ford Coppola's late-career kitchen sink fever dream screens for one night only on the Yukon's biggest screen. Help him re-coup of few more of the 120 million dollars the director invested in the movie! I mean, he sold one of his vineyard's to finance this, for Pete's sake.

In the city of New Rome, there's a conflict between Cesar, a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero, who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare.

Check out this cast, though: Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight
Jason Schwartzman, Talia Shire, Grace VanderWaal, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter and Dustin Hoffman

Recommended for ages 16+ for sexual content, nudity, drug use, language and some violence.

Megalopolis Is a Work of Absolute Madness

Surely the man who staked his entire studio on One From the Heart — the beautiful, woozy, unforgettable, financially dead-on-arrival One From the Heart — wasn’t thinking clearly. And so, he’s done it again, and perhaps exceeded himself. Megalopolis might be the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy every single batshit second of it. Bilge Ebiri - Vulture Magazine
