A psychological drama centered on the world-famous turn-of-the-century photographer, Eadweard Muybridge (the intense and riveting Michael Eklund) who photographed nude and deformed subjects, became the godfather of cinema, murdered his wife’s lover, and was the last American to receive the justifiable homicide verdict. Based on the play Studies in Motion from Vancouver’s Electric Play Company, this film took home 5 Leo Awards along with its 15 nominations, including best supporting actor for Christopher Heyerdahl. Winner of 5 Leo Awards. Winner of 'Best Narrative Feature' awards at Maui, Nashville and Brooklyn film festivals. 'Simply put, it’s astounding.
