Seminar: “Story-telling for fun and extremely minimal profit WHEN: Nov 18 – 2-4 pm WHERE: Jenni House (near the Fireweed Market grounds) Join Jenni House Writer-in-Residence Lori Fox for a seminar on the art of oral storytelling. Learn how to open grab an audience’s attention and hold it, where to start and end a story, how to execute a proper “flash bang” and what the hell you’re supposed to do with your hands while you’re talking. This short course is perfect for writers who want to up their story-telling game or amateurs who secretly have always wanted to be a competitor at a Moth Story Slam or even just someone who wants to be a slightly more interesting dinner party guest. This seminar is free and open to the public. Just bring yourself, a pen and a story you’d like to tell. Lori Fox is the Jenni House artist in residence for the month of November. This event is part of the Jenni House Artist Residency Program.
