Take a behind-the-scenes look at the process of building a film’s soundtrack with Music Supervisors Telan Wong (Acting Good, Suze), Evan Dubinsky (Nirvanna the Band the Show the MovieRememory) and Michael Perlmutter (North of North, Degrassi). Telan, Evan, and Michael will share the stories behind some of their favourite scenes, from early conversations with the director and defining the emotional palette, to navigating rights and clearances, and recognizing the moments when the right track can transform a scene. Through concrete examples, you’ll see how creative and logistical problem-solving unfold in real time and pick up practical strategies for shaping a strong musical identity and how to pitch your recordings.
