2018 Yukon 48 Film Challenge

Ever wanted to make a film? The 48 Hour Film Challenge is back! The competition begins at 5:30 pm on Friday, January 12, 2018. Participants will be given 48 hours from the time of registration to hand in a final Quicktime file on Sunday, January 14th, 2018 (No exceptions). A prop that must be used in the film will be revealed at registration. Participants outside the Whitehorse or Dawson area may participate and can upload their film to You Tube or Vimeo or send them to us via an ftp site. We must have the link by the deadline on Sunday. All films will be shown at screenings in Whitehorse and Dawson City on January 18th. A winning entry will be decided upon by a jury. The winning entry will be screened at the 18th Dawson City International Short Film Festival and the 2018 Available Light Film Festival. Two Audience Awards will also be presented, voted on by the Whitehorse and Dawson audiences.
