ALFF 2027 - Call for Festival Trailer Proposals

ALFF is seeking a filmmaker, media artist, or creative team to create the official 90-second festival trailer for the 2027 festival.

The trailer will play before screenings at ALFF and may be used across festival marketing, digital promotion, and on-site presentation. We’re looking for a bold, original concept that captures the spirit of ALFF: cinema, storytelling, northern creativity, and the energy of gathering around film.

This opportunity is open to Yukon-based filmmakers and media artists, as well as ALFF short film alumni. Concepts may include original footage, animation, motion graphics, experimental approaches, or creative use of clips from films selected for the festival. YFS will provide selected film clips, festival graphics, and sponsor/funder acknowledgement materials as they are confirmed and/or become available.

• A three-paragraph concept / expression of interest
• Samples of your work
• CVs or short bios for key team members

Remuneration: $1,700 CAD + $300 for music licensing + 1 Industry Forum Pass.
