Film submissions are now open for the 2027 edition of the Available Light Film Festival, presented by the Yukon Film Society. Taking place February 11–21, 2027 in Whitehorse, Yukon, ALFF continues to celebrate bold, original filmmaking from the North, across Canada, and around the world.
This year, ALFF is expanding eligibility for short films, now welcoming Canadian short film submissions from across the country. Alongside features, documentaries, and new media works, the festival is seeking fresh perspectives and daring cinematic storytelling.
From emerging creators to established filmmakers, ALFF remains committed to showcasing adventurous, independent cinema while connecting artists and audiences in one of Canada’s most vibrant film communities.
