Apply for ALFF 2026 Trailer Creation

Are you a filmmaker or media artist interested in producing the 90 second Available Light Film Festival trailer that plays before every screening at the festival?

The Yukon Film Society is accepting expressions of interest from Yukon filmmakers for the 2026 ALFF trailer production.

Deadline for EOI is: Tuesday, December 23: 5pm MT

Required documents:

• A two-three paragraph concept
• Samples of your work
• CVs of production team members

Concepts that use clips from films selected for the 2026 festival are acceptable and given the modest budget, encouraged. YFS will supply links to clips and graphics for sponsors and funder acknowledgements that need to be included in the ALFF trailer. NOTE: the successful applicant will have until Thursday, January 23, 2026 to complete the trailer.

Remuneration:

$1750 plus $300 for music licensing
