YFS and KIAC celebrate National Canadian Film Day: Wednesday April 22!
We're making four recent Yukon docs free to watch for 48 hours. Made possible with the generous support of kobayashi + zedda!
Showcasing one of Toronto's best up and coming Hiphop dancers, All It Gives follows the story of Kosi Eze, a Nigerian immigrant who moved to Canada when she was fourteen. Her transition to the country brought culture shock, loneliness and loss of identity. She was immediately hooked by the vibrant Hiphop scene in Toronto and Mississauga. Directed by Whitehorse-born and bred filmmaker and member of Borealis Soul, Talia Woodland.
Starting Wednesday, April 22 at midnight we're taking down the paywall for 48 hours for these four films in the Available Light On Demand collection:
Memory Trap by Allan Code, Camera Trap by Marty O’Brien, All It Gives by Talia Woodland and Shift by Kelly Milner
availablelight.watch - Yukon films at home.
Prepare for your National Canadian Film Day experience by watching this interview that we filmed with Talia on April 15.
