Horror, fantasy and thriller shorts produced by Northern filmmakers for the annual Yellowknife based genre film festival presented by the Artless Collective. DEAD NORTH is a short genre film-making festival that is open to all the good people freezing their faces off North of 60. Over the course of two months, filmmakers from the circumpolar world produce original films in some of the world's coldest climates.
Max's Multiplex (Whitehorse) Dir. by Andrew Seymour, DP+Editor Michael Code, Written, Starring and Produced by Gregory McLaughlin, lensed by Mike Code and shot in Carcross, this chillingly odd film won 3 awards at Dead North Film Festival in Yellowknife - Best Original Score, Best Actor, and Best Film! Max abandons his own reality in search of a new one.
