Long time YFS board member, film programmer and film columnist, Brian Eaton left this plane in 2025.

Join us for some snacks, sodas, a 16mm film screening and some Brian Eaton stories.

This is a free event.

+ $10 member pricing for the 5:30pm preview screening of John Wilson's "The History of Concrete."  An oddball documentary we feel pretty certian that Brian would have loved.

Brian Eaton was a long-time YFS board member and dedicated countless hours to the society. His column in the Yukon News and being an avid cinephile all his life greatly benefited the film community. "In the pre-digital days we showed 16mm films at Qwanlin Theatre. I’m amazed at how far the society has come and not only survived but thrived and has become an enormous success." Brian's Middle Row Centre Column in the YUKON NEWS (1980s - 2000s) and What's Up Yukon (2010-2015) focused on film reviews, championing Yukon filmmakers and media artists, and other film-related topics.
