Bria Rose with Kris Moore (BC/YT)

On the wings of the north wind, Bria Rose disrupts stillness with soulful warmth and delivers her uplifting yet gritty sound anchored by rich alto depth. This Whitehorse, Yukon, based artist showcases a Folk-Rock sound with resonating energy and raw vulnerability, bridging emotion and power. Poetic and biting lyrics cascade from the heart of Bria Rose, a Tahltan/Cree woman raised in the rural North. Imagine the styles of Tina Turner and Melissa Ethridge with an Indigenous viewpoint. After forming Bria Rose N' Thorns band she released her first 6-song EP, Sprout, May 2024. Bria Rose N' Thorns first full-length record, Bloom, is set to release in 2026.

Morningcloak (YT)
Morningcloak is a musical group formed on the traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün and Ta'an Kwäch'än First Nations with members Charles Hegsted, Tara Martin, Nic Hyatt and Cain Rogan. They are inspired by the dark, textural sounds of 90s trip hop and the vast range of experimental and underground artists that continue to develop this genre. The band blends sampled studio sound design elements with live instrumentation and introspective lyrics, taking the audience on a unique journey through the northern winter twilight.

Jordy Walker with Rob Dickson (YT)
Whitehorse multi-instrumentalist and producer, Jordy Walker kicks things off with a cinematic ambient set of songs, and will be joined by singer-songer, Rob Dickson who will perform sing songs from his three long-players.

Jordy Walker (he/him) is a musician, composer, record producer, and sound artist based in Whitehorse, Yukon. He has produced over 50 records and worked on an equal number of films, theatre and contemporary dance pieces. In 2024 Jordy released his first official solo album, Gifted With Fiction.

A song-writer and song-singer living in Yukon. Rob Dickson sings with calm intensity to his cyclic melodic guitar. Rob has three full length recordings to date: Proof of Our Years, Looking through Your Window (So Sorry Records) and Portraits (Midwood Records).

Luka Kuplowsky (ON)
Luka Kuplowsky’s voice is a paradox—at times it sounds too hushed to be captured, as if it’s going to disappear like smoke, then in the next instant it's as big as the sky. His latest release The Grass Grows, Antonych Grows (Росте Антонич, і росте трава) adapts orphic Ukrainian poet Bohdan Ihor Antonych (1909-1937) to song, placing Antonych’s poetry into a world of surreal and sensuous sonics. In his hometown of Toronto, Kuplowsky remains an active member of jazz and songwriting communities, regularly organizing and performing with the eclectic tribute group The Holy Oak Family Singers, collaborating with Ian Daniel Kehoe in their avant-pop duo Ingredient and documenting his music scene through his video practice.
