The rock n’ roll road movie where Ramona is sent to Northern Ontario to recover an errant band in danger of missing the final gig of their tour. On the way, she meets a pot-smoking cab driver, a delusional music-video crew and an aspiring serial killer who cautions Ramona about the “weirdos out there.” On these lonely, lunar roads Ramona seems to meet practically everyone except the guys she’s gone to look for. A voyage of loud music and self-discovery, Roadkill is one of the key films in what has come to be known as the Toronto New Wave. “…may be the best ever rock ‘n roll movie.” John Griffin, Montreal Gazette Tickets: $11 YFS members&seniors/ $12 non-members/$6 youth/ $26 family of up to 5 for child and youth appropriate films
