DEAD NORTH is a short genre film-making festival that is open to all the good people freezing their faces off North of 60. Over the course of two months, filmmakers from the circumpolar world produce original films in some of the world's coldest climates. UIRI by John Main, Cast Iron by Brett Elliot, Helios by aRTLeSS Collective, Hag by Pat Kane, Akoo by Amos Scott, Everybody Knows Me by Reuben Ward, Killer Workout by Michelle Swallow, Refresh by Mason Mantla. Preceeded by the Yukon 48 short film Sundown by James Healey. These films have gone on to screen at major festivals around the world, including Fantasia, BFI, NYC Horror Film Festival, Clarmont-Ferrand Film Festival and many more. Welcome to the world of arctic genre filmmaking!
