This screening took place on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 4:00 pmYukon Arts Centre

Upon learning that 40% of globally-produced food ultimately gets discarded, filmmakers and life partners Grand Baldwin and Jenny Rustemeyer decide to embark on a six-month experiment - eating only food that has been discarded or soon will be discarded. In addition to their experiment, food activists provide their perspective on the unnecessary reasons for food waste, public misconceptions concerning best-before dates, and the unforeseen problematic issues of discarded food going to landfills. A smartly produced documentary about a fundamental human and environmental issue that doesn't go where you expect it to go. Producer Jen Rustemeyer in attendance.
