This screening took place on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 5:30 pmYukon Theatre

The filmmaker and actor Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers (also main character in Night Raiders) creates an vital and intimate portrait of her community, Kainai First Nation in southern Alberta, and the impacts of the substance use and overdose epidemic.

A must-see for all citizens, Tailfeathers puts humanity and compassion first as she embraces the Blackfoot teaching of Kímmapiiyipitssini: “Kímmapiiyipitssini means compassion...” she says. “In our way of believing, if you help people out then you are blessed to continue to do that, and so our People are supposed to give what they have or what they can to help.”
