A woman named January witnesses the brutal murder of her friend, Kee, and blames herself for what happened. Haunted by her own role in the death and running from the guilt by living recklessly and constantly on the move. January returns to the city (Whitehorse) of the tragedy and is soon forced reconcile what happened. Last Stop for Miles was shot on location in Whitehorse, Yukon, with an entirely local cast (Claire Ness, Angela Code, Kelvin Smoler) and crew. This labour-of-love took many years to complete and could not have been done without the support of the Yukon-wide community of filmmakers, film lovers and industry funders.
