Wes Anderson’s absurdist comedy involves a pair of young lovers who flee their New England town, causing a local search party to fan out and find them. Renowned for his signature fantastic and meticulous art direction, Anderson sheds his hipster cool to create a warm and emotional fairy-tale. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl’s parents.
