Sometimes cartoons are a better reflection of life than anything else — especially if you happen to be graphic novelist Seth. His semi- autobiographical tales (Palookaville, It’s a Good Life - If you Don’t Weaken) of time passed in southern Ontario, along with his more fictional stories set in other corners of our nation, are essential pieces of Canadiana. Seth’s Dominion is a sometimes hilarious, often bittersweet mix of animation, live action, and even puppetry that provides us with a glimpse into the fascinating mind of one of Canada’s best storytellers.
