Filmed in the Tablelands of Western Newfoundland and starring powerhouse Canadian actor Elias Koteas (The Thin Red Line, Exotica, and Cronenberg’s Crash), The Silent Planet is a psychological slow-burn that explores the grim prospects for humans when Earth is depleted and ‘criminals’ are deployed to uninhabited planets to extract resources.
