The Yukon Film Society presents an evening with East Coast/ West Coast trio Steel Cut Oats

Steel Cut Oats is a three-piece, female-fronted indie pop band that splits time between Victoria, BC and Halifax, NS. Known for their infectious, upbeat melodies and shimmering blend of guitar and synth, the band has a magnetic live show, which captures attention with their energetic, dreamy feminist vibes. Having toured across Canada, Steel Cut Oats has brought their high-energy to Victoria, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Whitehorse and more. Steel Cut Oats is wood-shedding in Whitehorse this fall, developing material for a full-length album, with a projected release in 2026!
