Capturing the chaos of life on the road.

Two Cape Breton best friends head west to Alberta for the first time. They thought they’d make enough money ‘opening’ for the band Slowcoaster in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, and Calgary to get back home, but budgeting has never been their strength. Things go from bad to worse when old small-town tensions between the girls bubble to the surface. Through it all, Tracy and Martina discover that making ‘Berta Money isn’t as easy as they thought, but sticking together just might be their ticket home. If Fubar went Goin' Down the Road, it still wouldn’t be half as funny as this improvised mockumentary by music video director, Brendan Lyle.

Western Canada premiere.

Director Brendan Langelle, actors Justine Williams and Greg Vardy in attendance.

Recommended ages 12+ for strong language, smoking and alcohol consumption.
