Yukon-made is a showcase of film and media art made by Yukon filmmakers and artists. For this first screening, there is no curator or programmer and the intention is present everything submitted.
Inspired by her time spent in the Los Angeles studio of Grammy award winning producer, Jon Brown [Pink, Meghan Trainor], Sophia's lead single Daytime Dreaming has an essence of old Hollywood glamour.
A binaural mocumentary produced by Whispering Willows Records and Yukon Brewing, in cooperatioon with the Atlin Arts and Music Festival featuring the voice of local celebrity, Lewis Rifkind.

This is a short film produced by Shakat Media for this year's Blue Feather Music Festival as part of the Clash of the Artists competition, in which seven young performers battled to open the main event at the Arts Centre's stage. Mobb Diggity, a local hip hop musician, agreed to an interview to share his passion for music, the highs and lows of his artistic career, and his experience at the Clash of the Artists.

Whitehorse physical education teacher, Peter Grundmanis, learned to play hockey in the 1970s on a rink on the side of a mountain in Elsa, Yukon. Endless snow shoveling, 30 below and hard-checking miners only seemed to spur his dream that one day he might play in the big show. Produced for the Stolen From a Hockey Card concert at ALFF 2011.

There are wyrd things done in the midnight sun… James C. Kirby is a Black Magician, Artist and Magister Templi in the Temple of Set, a left hand path occult religion. A gemstone cutter, carver and fine jewelry maker, James crafts unique works in stone, bone and metal. Employing the ancient art of Lost Wax Casting, James creates a unique piece of jewelry to honour the 42nd anniversary of the Temple of Set.

All films presented are automatically entered for the Audience Choice Award. Audiences will vote for their favourite local short. The winning filmmaker will receive a Yukon Film Society production rental credit worth $250.00!
