Submissions for the 2016 Available Light Film Festival are now open.
Taking place February 7 to 14, the 14th annual Available Light Film Festival will feature 30+ screenings of contemporary International and Canadian cinema. Adjacent to the festival is the ALFF Media Industry Forum: a 5-day industry summit organized to address the ever-changing landscape of filmmaking in the digital age. The festival hosts filmmaking and digital media luminaries for an intimate eight-day program of screenings, live music and cinema performances, artist talks and workshops. The Available Light Film Festival audience choice awards for ‘Best Canadian Documentary’ and ‘Best Canadian Fiction Film’ will be presented to the director of the chosen film on the closing night.
Up to 30 feature films from Canada and around the world, will be presented. Canadian and International filmmakers are invited to submit their work.
