Available Light Cabaret - K!MMORTAL

K!mmortal is a musician, spoken word artist, filmmaker and visual artist. As a queer Filipinx based on unceded Coast Salish Territory aka Vancouver, K!mmortal creates a complex soul experimental hiphop that shreds with high-powered lyricism and a knack for using field recordings, her visual projections and collaborations with poets and dancers.

For this performance K!mmortal will be collaborating with Thomas Ulgasan, choreographer and dancer at Leaping Feats Creative Danceworks and founder of ImAdA, as well as participants of the Spontaneous Collaborative Creation workshop with K!mmortal.

K!mmortal has performed at Canadian Music Week, Kultura Filipino Arts Festival (Toronto), New West Pride Festival, and the Queer Women of Colour Film Festival (San Francisco). She has opened for artists Shad K, Azizi Gibson, Gabriel Teodros, Lal and Saul Williams.
