Join us in celebrating Trans Awareness Week with a double bill featuring both local and classic Transgender art! Presented in partnership with Milkweed Productions. 

What happens when a clown who has never seen a classic film sets out to write it? 

• Rule 1: Everything you know about the story must make it into your story.
• Rule 2: You cannot seek out any new information as you write. 

Part Year 2000 period piece, part delusional fanfiction, part homage to transgender cultural icons and Trans creativity, A STORY WE ALL KNOW is a multimedia stage play exploring what happens in the liminal space between one clown's imagination and a largely unknown (to them) cultural phenomenon. Expect a lot of leather. 

Read by a cast made up entirely of local Trans artists, this world premiere is not to miss! 

Masks highly encouraged and available at the door. 

This reading will be followed by a screening of The Matrix.
