Alain is marrying Virginie. The day will be magnificent, the day will be perfect, and Alain's Lebanese aunts will talk about this wedding for years to come. But Alain has a knot in his stomach. A simmering anger is brewing inside him. He dreads the reunion with his parents, whose tumultuous divorce haunted his childhood. He fears the return of his anxiety attacks, he fears his addiction to medication, to which he is on the verge of relapsing. His cousin Édouard, a true brother to him, has promised the newlyweds a parade in a convertible Mustang. Except that on the wedding day, Édouard's mind is elsewhere. He's hatching a nebulous plan and is determined to tell Alain about it. In doing so, Édouard summons the ghosts of the past and plunges Alain into a state of near-delirium. Alain has only one ambition left: to survive the best day of his life.
Alain se marie avec Virginie. La journée sera grandiose, la journée sera parfaite et les tantes libanaises d’Alain parleront de cette noce pour des années à venir. Mais Alain a mal au ventre. Une colère sourde gronde en lui. Il craint les retrouvailles de ses parents dont le divorce orageux a troublé son enfance. Il craint le retour en force de ses crises d’anxiété, il craint sa dépendance aux médicaments dans laquelle il est sur le point de retomber. Son cousin Édouard, véritable frère, a promis aux mariés de les parader dans une Mustang décapotable. Sauf que le jour du mariage, Édouard a la tête ailleurs. Il fomente un projet nébuleux et veut absolument en parler à Alain. Ce faisant, Édouard convoque les fantômes du passé et plonge Alain dans une angoisse proche du délire. Alain n’a plus qu’une seule ambition : survivre à la plus belle journée de sa vie.

Joseph is a young man who decides to leave France for the Yukon, Canada, to live in the middle of nowhere and enjoy the wildlife. During the last dinner with his parents at the restaurant, an argument breaks out with his father. They have very different expectations. His father doesn't understand Joseph's choice to live in Canada and would like him to take over the family farm. The family drama comes home to roost many years later.
